Account Manager (Sales)
Key Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for all incoming leads
Respond to leads in a timely manner
Ensure that the sales process is adhered to
Prepare proposals and presentations to pitch to potential clients
Develop quotes and proposals
Negotiate the terms of an agreement, price and specifications with clients
Forge and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts
Maintain an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
Identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue growth within existing client accounts
Develop and leverage the company’s branding and professional profile
Work closely with the production teams to manage projects and stakeholders
Working with finance team to ensure billing milestones are recorded
Lead and guide junior hires if applicable
Propose improvements to the sales process if applicable
Key Requirements
A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Sales / Marketing / Mass Communications or equivalent
At least 5-7 years of relevant sales experience in the media industry would have an added advantage
Experience in managing pre-sales & deployment processes, including client presentations & product demonstrations
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
